Another quick one this morning. This one of Leara of Myst. Given her mixed nature, she is one of the most knowledgeable and mysterious characters in the 'Upon a Star' saga.

Created from Melothios' ashes by Eligius, she sees the Planar of Nature as a mentor figure - perhaps even as a father figure. Having been hunted down and raped by Merit through Volkram, she could not bring herself to kill her unwanted children and gave them away. Those children unfortunately ending up becoming some of the greatest villains in Medierth's history - Xamaris of Cald, Kadlak the Merciless, Tiger's Eye, Iron-Chain Pison, Lyzar Shardoak... It reached a point where she no longer wanted to live, and pleaded with the Planars to be rid of her fate. As a show of mercy, she was changed into a lamia to hide her from Merit.

Druid, shapeshifter, dryad, part-Planar... She was there at some of Medierth's most important events, helping those who would become heroes along their paths.

Side-note: the original character belonged to a former RP and Yu-Gi-Oh! duelist I knew. The character's name was Gypsy, which Leara used during "The Barefoot Empress". Her current name was taken from an NPC from a video game named Mistylear, which I used as a previous on-screen name here.
