It took me five attempts to get this picture of Rauz done the way I wanted. Most of them did not follow the prompts (shorter hair, wrong hair color, odd pose...), so I am a little frustrated.

Rauz Grayheath is Karyana's mentor and the one who first found her. He is also the late Magelord Medai's student, though prefers the student of alchemy. Though not exactly a fighter, Rauz was able to stand against Iron-Chain Pison using a series of traps he placed around his atelier, though the result ended in a way that left Rauz scarred... and sent to prison by Volkram for "misuse of magical relics and endangering human life", which was not of his own volition.

After a few years in Wizardbane Prison, Laurinya freed him in exchange for a map to the location of the necessary tools to execute a ritual that would allow her a wish from the Planars.

Side-note: the name 'Rauz' is a simple anagram of the name 'Urza' from "Magic: the Gathering".
