Description
Here's something that I was working on during the course of the night off using Adobe Photoshop Elements 6.0 and an original linework sketch scanned directly to the PC. I had recently copied files from the Antarctic Press digital screentone CD that I had brought over a couple a years ago and improvised a way to copy and paste them onto an image. The trick was to duplicate the line art layer with "Multiply" properties as if I were going to add digital coloring, then paste a copied area from the digitone file onto the image as a background image, using the eraser tool to "trim off" the desired area. Once that job was done, the digitone layer could then be merged down and a new layer pasted on.The only drawback right now is that I lack digital speed lines. Those will have to be done by hand or copied from a hand-drawn sheet.
