First Pokémon fan art I did in my life.
I personally don´t like the TV series, very repetitive, 75% of the episodes are always the same damn thing. XD But I like the movies, and I have the first one here.^^ And recently, I watched the 8th movie. I was really amazed with the new Pokémon, Lucario (or Rukario for purists...), he make me watch the movie for the second time. Why? Man, he is really cute! XDD The other Pokémon I like (believing on it or not. ) is Mew (and in my view, Mew is a female - remember Pokémon have gender. )... And they look cute together =3 So... X3

Mew & Mewtwo have like no gender or something, bottom line is you can't use ditto to mate them along with other ledgendary (ones you can only get once in a special battle) which meant you needed to play 1st gen poke'mon to get it T_T
or use a gameshark.
So if Mew or Mewtwo have a gender it's unnoficcial
My dad thought Mewtwo had feminine legs, tho I don't see it

Anyway, Rukario has an official "gender distribution" of "100% male" That's the official Pokemon stat. Pokemon definitely do have genders but it's a bit complicated to explain. In most cases they don't show what gender they are (unless for the obvious here

I looked it up, Lucario's gender distribution is 87.5% Male, 12.5% Female.
Also in my opinion, Pokémon can be whatever gender the artist wishes unless it's like a female Nidoran Male or whatnot. Legendaries are even more customizable gender-wise, but the voices tend to give clues. I imagine Mew as being a guy, and I tend to lean more in that direction for guys anyways, so...
Personally I don't care what gender Mew is in this picture, but I won't go into detail on that. Great picture, save'd. >:3
