Thinking Wendell dead, Dipper confess his love for him. The real Wendell heard everything.
After the whole ordeal, Wendell tells Dipper he's known about his crush. While he's flattered, he tells him he doesn't feel the same way and feels he's too old for him (he's worried he'll be arrested as a pedophile). He sees Dipper as more a little brother he wish he had, and wants them to remain best friends. And is happy to have Dipper in his life. Dipper was relieved to get all that out of his chest, but can't help but feeling disappointed. Mabel apologies for pushing him and assures Dipper he'll get over it.
