My SO and I are looking forward to hiking up to Mauna Kea Observatories and doing some astrophotography in the future.
When I think about how beautiful it will be, I can't help but draw out the daydreams in anticipation.

This is seriously, seriously beautiful. I love fantastic landscapes with like these where you as the viewer see what the characters are seeing. Feeling the colors and vast open world. Definitely favoring this. Keep it up, I'll be studying that tutorial

I technically live in Hawai'i but I'm on a different island (I'm on 'Oahu) but I've heard about the observatories and the new telescope they're putting up (Not sure if it's up yet or not considering all the controversies going on about it)
In any case, I've wanted to visit them myself at least once so I hope you and friend have an awesome time there!!
Also don't take any lava rocks by the volcano or river rocks from there, I've lived there long enough to know it's not gonna end well :/

careful going up mauna Kea, it's kinda a political powder keg. the native people are protesting the Thirty meter Telescope. i'm not sure how they feel about tourists in this juncture in their protests. actually, they have been coming along pretty nicely in their campaign. it's kind of unclear why they're up there, just, yeah, Tread lightly
