it reminds me of a kids song I used to hear when I was little - "seeds of chewing-gum". it was about some kids who wanted to have a tree of chewing-gums, so they took pieces of chewing-gum, planted them as seeds and gave them water so they'll grow into trees...

I love the colours you've used and the tree is fantastic! Usually when people have poetry accompanying their artwork I groan, but yours was a really pretty little rhyme which just added to the whimsical feel of the picture.
