"we got an assignment to take a piece of literature with dialogue and illustrate it in three pictures. And the teacher said we could use movie and tv scripts so of course I opted for MOPEYNESS OF DOOM!
one of the snags was we couldn't take visual cues from the movie/tv show itself - so I redesigned the chars. Don't think she would have noticed if I'd kept them the same - another kid got away with using the disney jungle book - but my fellow students would spot it instantly.
The layout of the house is similar and that's about it.
While this much reduced version of the picture is no where near as impressive as the 2 megabyte one I'm handing in to class - I still think it's one of my better photoshop pics.
I stayed up till friggin' two doing this
