Err, I perfer the natraul falling sky effect that tg1 can gernerate (higher quality result) but I guess this works also. Thanks man

Nice... this is definitely one of the better tutorials I've seen for making auroras in Photoshop. And they almost look real too. Try dimming them a bit and making them a bit smoother and you're there.

For your final "Skys" thing, wouldn't the stars be in the black areas of the skies, NOT the lightened ones?
