Haven’t been feeling very well mentally as of late, so I thought I’d do a bit of a vent piece.Related content

Overall I love this piece, it's dynamic and truly shows that an artist can do some of their best work when venting.
To break down what I think makes this outstanding, I am going to use a few things I've recently learned in my Digital Color Theory and Design Fundamentals classes at AI.
The contrast of positive and negative is top notch, the gradation of the checkered background leads the eye down while the black and white arrows lead the eye around the piece. Thus creating an infinite loop for the eye to follow.
From what I can see, you used the primary color triad (red, blue, yellow plus tints, tones, and shades). This makes the piece vibrant but not so much that it takes away from the emotion and mood. However you could go a bit more dynamic with the shades of this triad and make it really pop. Adding subtle shades in areas where shadows are casted could easily do so. (For example: Under the bandana.)
The lines feel a little stagnant, fiddling with the width of them would fix this and make it much more dynamic.
The piece is very well unified and shows that you have a good eye for your art form. You definitely know how to use the medium to create a grand visual piece but could still learn a few things. (Then again that's any artist).
Overall, you've done fantastic with this. Just add a few more shades and maybe a couple tints and the piece will pop amazingly.
