Skill: Fire Magic/Bending: Like the name entails, Huo is able to generate fire from his hands and feet. He’s also able to shoot fireballs that are only able to travel around 6’ or so before fizzling out. The flame's damage also varies in accordance to their color (red-orange-yellow-white-blue), though the hotter the flame, the more mana he uses up.

Huo for the most part has pretty good control when it comes to his fire power, but his fire does depend on his concentration and temper. Concentration isn’t that hard for him, but a hot-head (haha) and tends to lose his temper, and his fire can flare up to a point where he can’t control it.
Minor Skill(s): Fire Breathing: Can breathe fire, but it’s nothing major. The fire he breathes isn’t that powerful, and doesn’t do too much damage. He mostly uses it for his fire dancing.

History: Huo was born Lin Teng, the “daughter” to Mei Teng, and her late lover Ani. Huo lived a pretty normal good life, helping around and being one of the entertainers to his parents’ fairly successful restaurant. He went to a school for hybrids where he wouldn’t have to deal with discrimination from humans and could harness his skills. Along with his magical studies at school, he had trained under the wing of his uncle Tien, a monk who had devoted his life to religion and honing his skills. With the training with his uncle, Huo mostly focused on trying to unlock his full potential strength and magic-wise.

One night however Huo’s father had gone for a drive to the restaurant late at night and had been killed in a hit and run. This left his mother with no real help at the restaurant, and Huo, at the age of 12, had to somehow take the responsibility of his father in taking care of the restaurant, and at home with his baby sister at time time. Having less time to train with his uncle he had added additional courses in school to make up for it, focusing more on magical studies and became one of the head fire dancers at his mother’s restaurant for additional practice . His workload became heavier and he had struggled to balance school life, home life, training, working, and his love for dancing. Instead of complaining however, he kept a positive attitude and pulled through and did his best to excel in everything he could.

After years of “working his ass off” as he calls it, his mother decided to have a talk with him about an opportunity to go to a school in Voxis to help improve his skills and to maybe become a hero. At first he was against the idea seeing as he didn’t want to leave his mom alone to run the restaurant by herself. She assured him that she could handle things on her own. With an extra push from his sister and a few friends, he got a passport to Voxis and applied to go to the school...

Overview: Huo is a loud fun loving guy, who’s quick tempered and always tries to be great at everything he tries.

He LOVES sneakers. His collection is composed of 129 pairs and still growing.
Most of his clothes are made by himself. He has enough money to buy clothes, but he feels like buying would be a waste when you can simply make what you want.
Despite the fact that he acts like he’s not too bright, he’s actually really smart and knowledgeable about the world around him.
