Title: Singing Knight
Skill: Siren’s Song: Can be used in two ways
Enchantment: Usually this skill was used to lure hybrids on ships into the water if he was desperate for food. Now he doesn’t use it often because it’s fairly powerful (takes about a minute or two to take effect) and it’s hard to snap others out of the trance once they’re overcome by his song. The most common way to break free from the trance is to disrupt the singing with a loud noise. The song can also be used on normal demons and animals in the sense of taming though it’s not as potent on them.
Calming Song: When Crimson hums, it has a soothing effect that can calm one’s mood if they’re angry/upset/etc. Not used often since it sometimes lulls people to sleep.
Minor Skill(s):
Weapon Summoning: Because of his training in the past, he has the ability to summon weapons. So far he’s only able to summon 4 weapons (2 sets).
Shifting: ( i.gyazo.com/d68bc868e934d308ad… )
Land: The form he takes when out of the water.
Winged: He’s able to shift his arms into wings. Unlike his normal form he has full control over this form but shifting his arms away takes up some mana and requires a lot of concentration. He’s able to fly with them, but not for long since flying uses up a lot of energy and he’s not used to flying in general. At best he can be in the air for 2 minutes before tiring himself out.
Normal: When fully submerged, he shifts into his mermaid form. He has no control over shifting into this form and the only way to turn back into his land form is for him to be dried off completely. He also doesn’t shift back with his clothes...
Weapon: Dual Scythes, Claymore+Shield
Weapon Type: Polearms, Short Range
Combat Style: When in battle, Crimson is usually the powerhouse. He’s all offense and power but his defense and speed is rather weak in comparison.
House: Cha’Nuul
Major: Polearms+Short Range
Program: Common, but interested in the Demigod Program
Occupation: Formerly a soldier, then househusband, currently unemployed
Likes:
Land flowers: Especially carnations and roses.
His family
Singing/Music
Jellyfish: His favorite animal, sharks come a close second
Food: He’s a foodie and loves to eat
Being called a hero or anything similar
High places: Buildings, pillars, etc. He likes being “close” to the sky
Dislikes:
Hot weather
Bright lights: He’s got sensitive eyes
Abandonment
Deep waters: Too many creepy fish down there
Gore
Hobbies: Sparring and studying
Personality:
Stoic: Not big on self expression, emotional expression, or facial expression.
Reserved: Not open about himself for the most part and likes to listen to others rather than talk about himself
Blunt/Honest: Sometimes brutally so. He’s someone who always voices his opinions when he’s asked to and never beats around the bush with his beliefs or morals.
“Motherly” or so he calls it: Is known to worry about others he cares about, sometimes to the point of being overbearing. It’s only natural since he’s a parent himself.
Heroic: Or at least he tries to be. He enjoys helping others and “saving the day” like he things most heroes do.
Home Region: An underwater kingdom off the coast of Garnet, later lived in Garnet
History: Numea was born into poverty, with little to nothing to survive on. The only thing he had was his mother who was sick and would verbally abuse him. When he was seven, his mother had passed away and left him with nothing. Numea was forced to live on his own and wander around and try his best to survive.
Up until he was ten, he had wandered the oceans, taking on odd jobs and backdoor deals for money or food. Through this he had gained a lot of knowledge on survival and a good deal in fighting. Once he decided to try to pickpocket a man who seemed fairly wealthy, and after a scuffle with him Numea had learned the man was a higher up in the military. Numea had thought that he would be arrested, but the man had other plans in mind. The man had seen potential in Numea and decided to enlist him into the kingdom’s military and to work as a soldier. Numea didn’t really have much of a choice, so he accepted the man’s offer. Numea was renamed and was finally given a stable home. He finally felt at home somewhat and had focused on a dream: becoming a hero.
Crimson had worked his way up the ranks in a shorter amount of time compared to others, and became a well regarded soldier for his loyalty and skill. He wasn’t well regarded amongst his peers because of this, and also because of his ‘hero’ mentality and constant want to change the world. All except one however. A fellow soldier named Nica had found Crimson’s ideals endearing and bonded with him and the two eventually became inseparable. After a few years had passed, Nica had been banished for supposed treason and gave Crimson the promise of “something great” in the future once they meet again. Crimson found that hard to believe and decided to forget about Nica’s promise and focus on becoming the hero he had wanted to be.
After some time had passed Crimson had decided that the life of a soldier just wasn’t right for him. Rather than help the people, he was just instilling fear in them to keep order and that made him feel disgusting. After about 9 years, he was honorably discharged from the military, then met up with Nica; they ultimately got married and traveled to the surface, settling in a fishing town in Garnet.
Off the coast of Garnet, during one of his late night trips to the ocean, Crimson had spotted a fishing boat that seemed to have been catching more than just fish. He decided to intervene on the matter and ended up saving a young hybrid girl, whom he had taken in after finding out she had no real home or guardians. The girl considered Crimson her hero, though he didn’t like the sound of it at all. He wasn’t a hero, no matter how much he vied to become one.
A few months had passed and Crimson had heard about a school called Enhalo that was pretty much made to create heroes and demigods. Crimson was hesitant at first but he wanted to fulfill the dream he had failed to accomplish years ago: to become a real hero. After having a child, he worked on his skills and when he found himself fit enough he applied to Enhalo.
