A Young G1 Earth Pony Filly who was originally looked after by Twilight Sparkle.

If she was revamped for Friendship is Magic, I would make her Twilight Sparkle's little sister. Unlike Twilight who's book smart, well organized and once anti-social, Ember was more outdoorsy, free spirited and highly social. She was also BORN with a cutie Mark: A Single Silver Star. To this day, she's been trying to figure out what it means.
