This is right when Optimus is dying, and dropped the Matrix when he was trying to give it to Ultra Magnus. Hot Rod and Magnus both went for it, but Hot Rod caught it. And then it lit up like this when he was handing it back to Magnus. Foreshadowing, anybody?The Transformers: The Movie (1986)
