My nightmares bring me pain. I look into the eyes of my demon and they look back, right at me, right at my soul and I think about how much they look like mine, right before They rip me apart. I can feel the blade press right against my spine. I don’t know where my organs went, I can only guess they were pushed out. I can feel my neck snap, my skin being the only thing that is keeping me from falling apart as my world was shook to its very core.
And in the midst of my murder even more sickening realisations came to me. If my life truly ended it would have felt like a waste. I was not myself. I was tied to a string and every time it was pulled I would bow. I never let this happen. I never let myself just become a product of auto-pilot. I haven’t been myself. I am not myself. I’m not the person I am suppose to be. I am wasting myself and have nearly forgotten what I strived to achive.
I have been barely half of what I used to be… And that needs to stop. Now.
This was one awful wake-up call.
