Description
This week's Pixel Sprite features another JWA unique hybrid, the chomping offensive powerhouse, Trykosaurus! Created from a combination of an Ankylosaurus/Kentrosaurus hybrid and T-rex DNA, this monster has armor and speed according to its dinodex entry. Since Tryko is more or less a Rex with a heavy Anky shell, I tried to add the plating and texture on its sprite to convey this. It also inherits a club tail from its parents instead of a normal tapered one. Its in-game palette is more of a sandy tan color which contrasts with the yellow highlights on its shell. I chose this rearing up pose to show Tryko preparing to deliver one of its devastating armor-piercing strikes. This particular hybrid has performed very well in the competitive arena and has been an anchor on my PvP team for a very long time. I don't see it getting swapped out any time soon.
