Facebook | Tumblr | ArtStation | My Website | Buy Prints Share on TumblrI thought I would share some of my planning designs for MemoirduLune , a roleplaying group that myself and wispywaffle are currently working on. Feel free to give it a browse, but we're still very in the process of creating it so much of the information is incomplete and messy.
These aren't the final designs, just some ideas I wanted to draw out. The elementals are made up of elements from the environment around them, and my idea was for them to be mostly made of changeable compounds (such as water, fire, ect), so that each one could be unique, but still recognizable.
I haven't been able to come up with a name for the last one (ice/snow elemental) so if you have any suggestions I would love to hear them!
edit: My Nymph design is not a pokemon, but thank you to the many people who pointed out the likeness. It's based off of an older character that I designed before the pokemon black and white series was released, but with the addition of a dress I can see the resemblance. I don't keep up to date with all of the pokemon, since there is far too many of them, so I'd never heard of Liligant before people pointed it out.

I would be careful with the nymph, she looks a little too much with the pokemon Lilligant, imidiatly reminded me of it when I saw this.
Apart from that it's a lovely run test for this little creatures, they are lovely I like the Rain maker especially, she looks really kind

Irresistibly cute! As for the nameless one - maybe Mavka would do? It's a name of a Slavic water spirit (rather evil and dangerous, but still...)

Talvi is winter in finnish and lumi is snow in finnish. :3

For the nameless one, here's a few
- Graeae are ancient water goddesses, children of Ceto, a sea monster
- Kappas are Japanese spirits whose weakness is that their heads are full of water and if it spills out they lost their powers
- Jengu are spirits in Sawa mythology, who can cure disease
- Nereids are Greek nymphs of the sea
Personally I love the term 'Grindylow', which comes from British fairy tales. They're long-fingered creatures that live in cold waters. (But I'm biased because I'm English, I think.)

I like the idea of Kappa or Nereid, probably Nereid sounds more cute and mysterious, also makes her sound dark like her appearance.

For the nameless elemental, might I suggest "Rusulka"? They're a Slavic myth, evil water spirits.

Just did a search on elemental mythical creatures. Turns out there's a japanese spirit called Yuki Onna, or 'snow woman'. Hope that helps.

They're so sweet! I love the style you've done them in; it definitely lends them an ethereal feel.
I agree with one of the posters below me - an Undine might be a good name for the water-spirit that fits a bit better with your theme, but obviously that's up to you. As for the ice spirit, I'll second the suggestions of Boreas or Glacia.

to help with the last ones name or even the rain maker i have a fantasy book that tells you almost everything you need to know about fantasy and luckily i have a elements chapter. a water element is an Undine or a Nereid but only the Nereids are found in the Mediterranean sea and i cant find much information on Undines but i hope that helps even a little.

Though many people saw a pokemon in your Nymph, I couldn't help but picture that one Digimon with the pink flower.
Anyway, for the ??? if you're still looking for a name, Mikiyok/Miki is an Inuit(?) word for 'Little One', 'Small One', etc. The cute chibiness of the characters make me think they're pretty small, so that's what I looked for.

I wouldn't picture the last one being snow but i always connected snow with water. I thought it was air/wind fromt he little swirly thing he has in his palm.
