Description
Peridot stands 13.5" tall. She is made with wovens, knits, and minky. Her visor is made from a clear plastic that I coated to make somewhat opaque. Her gem was hand sculpted and painted, so it has nice dimension. I have enjoyed making more humanoid characters, but I have to be careful which fabric I choose. Her skin was just the right color but it was tricky to work with so the hands are that thin, but still pretty realistic. The client requested an annoyed expression, and I think it really suits her.
