Normally Asgore's reassurances would be comforting, but under these circumstances it's a little ominous. Not that he knows that, haha.
He was going to go get a bandage for his finger but the brothers distracted him. Papyrus has started taking Sans's ego boosts to heart! Although the thought that their parents abandoned them is starting to take root.

They're such minor details, but the little 1 HP and cleaning a knife with one of those yellow-green sponges (oh my god everyone knows those sponges) is such good slice-of-monster-life that I really love those panels.

Assuming Sans doesn't remember Gaster yet, Idk why he's so angry. It's not in his character to immediately jump to the most negative assumption but he seems deadset on the idea that they were abandoned even though Asgore said a variety of other possible reasons they're alone. Sans is a skeptic, not a cynic.

Not really, just like papyrus remember how gaster made him feel about blue magic, sans also remember how it felt to be with his father, but he dont remember it.
