I usually have Sixbones in a neutral shambly pose, so I decided to try some different ones for the heck of it. Although I don't actually picture them moving very much in battle, haha.Sometimes Sans's legs dangle and sometimes they follow Papyrus's legs, it depends. They're not exactly solid after all.
I wonder if Sixbones is spoilery without context? I'm going back and forth on adding a spoiler tag for this.

I wouldn't put it past them. It might be pretty malformed, but I could see it. Sixbones can't be killed and they're nearly impossible to pacify (Some things done to pacify one would annoy the other), so all in all I think I might rather deal with Sans on a really bad day. At least with both separate you stand a better chance (if you fight Sans, you really deserve it).

This would make a fun fan game, where during a run they amalgamate and of you're doing a genocide you have to fight them both. Melty bone attacks and amalgamated music
