Goodness, between the patched up coat and the broken best scientist mug, the visual metaphors are in full bloom this season. Gaster's outfit looks a lot like one of mine involving a long-sleeved cardigan, a sweater, and a scarf. Not sure how I feel about that. Also man, Sans' tongue hasn't been dulled one bit by all this. I wonder if Papyrus mentioned the thing he said a while back about "I don't feel anything for you," and he's throwing it back at Gaster now, or if that's something only Gaster will be aware of.

Gaster's clothes are becoming more casual. And the fact that the mug he broke was the world's greatest dad/scientist one strikes me as significant.
I mean, is he actually gonna manage to hurt Papyrus again after what happened back there? Either way, it's gonna be interesting.
Poor Sans, though. He's more broken than the mug. : /

Can't use hand to pick up pieces, so uses sleeve instead... Nice attention to detail. And I love his scarf~!

One has to wonder what'll bring him back, assuming it's not just time and/or getting his memories wiped. I'd hate to see him like this the rest of the series.

Oh man... But, he arguably IS like this in Undertale (in many interpretations, at least). Granted, most of us believe it's because of the Resets... but what if it's this? He doesn't care anymore, but maybe after Papyrus starts to worry, he starts up with the jokes/puns to deflect Pap's worry, but is still like this on the inside... o.o
Then even after their memories are wiped, he doesn't know WHY he doesn't care... just that it's easier not to. ;_;
