Actually, if there are +16.000 views, it means that a lot of people still like Undertale, therefore the fandom isn't a dead rotting corpse as you described it.

Well, we have the perfect example for that argument you gave. This very comic! Yes, the one up here! It received around +14.000 in a single day! And there are two points you forget:
1. This is a comic, not a video. You can't compare different media and put them at the same level. A video contains audio, reactions, movement... It's like comparing a movie with a painting.
2. Zarla has less followers than the man you linked. Like, nearly a 10% of what the man has. It's normal that the video has more views; I bet she'd have similar number of views if she had such amount of followers. If you want to compare, you should give examples of youtbers which are closer in followers than Zarla, and examples from the same media.
3. This comic, alone, got +16.000 views and increeasing. Imagine what other comics from other artists of the same amount of watchers that Zarla has can achieve. And not only on deviantART, but on other websites. And also, the writings and even the songs that people compose based on the game, remixes or original songs.
4. There's new merchandise coming. If the community wasn't still alive, they wouldn't make new stuff. And no, it's not "just hardcore fans"; businesses don't work that way, you know? It's far more complex. That or there are thousands of hardcore fans, and that can't be considered "hardcore fans"; when it is still spread enough, it's just that people still like the game.
These are signs that Undertale is far from dead. This, above here, are actual facts. Not insults, not disrespect. Facts.

1 and 2: No. He has more followers because Youtube is a website that hosts videos, a media which is far more attractive to public and far more extended than comics. Not everyone can draw well, but anyone can record a video given it has the needed material. Again, you are comparing two different media; you're comparing a movie to a painting, and that's a big mistake.
3 and 4: there is more coming, especially after the PS4 debut of Undertale. Which, by the way, is new official content. Yes, it is a port, but is has allowed more people to know about UT and play the game, therefore letting the fanbase become bigger than it already was, and letting more people keep it alive. Also, fandoms keep their love alive by different meanings: gameplay, song remixes, mods (be in the game itself or in others -example: Undertale mods for Binding of Isaac-), etc.
I'll reply to everything here, since the discussion is kinda scattered:
Undertale IS alive. There are more fanarts, more theories, more fanfics coming everyday. There are thousands of people (and not low thousands; but big numbers) who still love the game and make fanart content in every website; they search for secrets within the game, make theories or simply make an AU with their vision of the game. They are even making fangames based on UT, and that takes lots of effort from many people, effort fueled by the passion this game has produced. Yes, it could have had a peak of millions, but keeping millions of people is hard; even Fallout games fall down eventually. But the fanbase is still huge; it is still present in other websites and in this one, even after so long. It is clearly alive, and it's very easy to check so.
Not only that, you make yet another mistake: you are asking an indie-originated game to be at the same level to an AAA. They aren't even the same genre at all. By the way, the fact that a single-player, non-online game still keeps such a big and alive fanbase after three years isn't only unsual, but a sign that the game has been so impactful that people still think about it. These are facts that no one, even you, can't deny. And as I said, there has been a port of the game to PS4 last year, so there has been new official content coming up, as well as patches with new details to dig in and talk about. Which means that fans come back to it, kindling the flame again.
*clap* If you still doubt that Ut is dead, even after all the post above... we'll be over with the discussion, since I can't help someone who denies that needs it. If you don't want to see the truth, it's ok. But saying UT is dead is not only a lie, but ridiculous. Narrow-minded haters can't be helped, after all...

The user is a mindless hater; don't waste your time.
They say that a game which is 3 years old is stale, but the fallout series, which is much older, isn't XD Not only that, games like Final Fantasy VI or Kingdom Hearts came out earlier than Undertale and they don't say that to artists who draw fanart of it.
They cover the lack of actual reasons to hate the game with insults and arguments which don't make sense no matter what they say. For them, it is "I don't like the game = It is stale". Even if many facts prove them wrong, like the new merchandise, the new fanart that comes up everyday, the amount of views this comic has in only 2 days...
As I said, don't waste your precious time on this guy; it's useless.

It's not spoilers, they're simply telling them who the main character is. (something you find out when you watch the trailer anyway.) They aren't telling anything about what the characters story arc is or anything, which would be spoilers.

Eh? Pretty sure no trailer reveals the name. Just to check, I rewatched the Greenlight trailer for steam, the Trailer for Kickstarter, and the recent trailer for PS4. Do the work yourself if you want to but it isn't there. Feel free to prove me wrong.
And it is something you find out at the very end of the game, where you find out about another human which I'm not going to talk about cause it's a spoiler alert. I'd consider it a spoiler.
