Just some idle speculation about blasters, haha. He has his normal head here for clarity since I figure that Gaster's blaster would reflect his appearance to an extent, like Sans and Papyrus's do (you remember Papyrus's googly eye blasters right), thus the blaster's eyes right eye would be closed/potentially sealed over. I dunno what he'd name his though, haha.where does one find glasses big enough for a blaster, these are the real mysteries

Still wondering why Gaster would teach Sans and Pap to use weapons when he's trying to keep them captive unless he wants them to escape and let him stop distancing himself.

I think that's just what Paps' blaster would look like if it didn't have googly eyes.

Now that I look at more, it could also be a baby blaster of Gaster's. He has the same eyes as pap after all.
It would make more sense for Gaster to have two if any of them could.

I'd guess that it's to make the page seem a little more full. That or one of the skeletons decided to make more than one. In the battle against Sans, he has more than one Blaster, so maybe it was Sans'?

But you have to take into account the eyes on the Gaster Blaster- They're like Papyrus'. Papyrus is known for trying to live up to his title (The Great Papyrus), so maybe he was showing off and made another one. Or, you could say that Papyrus learned how to create the Gaster Blasters before Sans, and made a new one in trying to show his brother.

I'm imagining a cozy scene in which Gaster is sitting in a chair while stroking his blaster like a cat in his lap, obviously because it had dirt on it and he was cleaning it off. All in front of a little Bunsen burner, because it's a lab, not a house, and he is definitely not trying to make it seem more like a house by using a Bunsen burner like a fire place, because that would be distracting from important science-y things. That burner just happened to be on, this was entirely coincidence. Entirely.
