I didn't even think about what it would be like if turns really existed within the world, and especially if they existed but only for humans. Like.. that's such a creepy mental image! It makes human society seem terrifying if they actually invented a code of conduct for battle that feels like a cat playing with it's food! Though, honestly, you could look on some real life rules of 'knight honor' and see them the same way, there's a kind of ego in deliberately limiting yourself as if you're so sure you'd win anyway and you want to make it more of a challenge...
