Physical Description:
Harvey has olive-toned skin, and a very tired, old looking face. He has wrinkles in his forehead, and his face is always covered in scratchy violet stubble. His jaw and chin are very defined, and his nose is somewhat crooked due to being broken several times. His eyes, which are red colored, are surrounded by dark bags due to lack of sleep. His lips are almost always dry and cracked. His violet hair is messily combed, with two sharp peaks on either side of his head, which are his ears.
He stands at 6'1", and is, by all definitions, muscular. His hands are large, broad, and thick, with callouses all over his fingers and palms. He has several deep scars on his body, with most of them being on his back and forearms. He is very hairy.
His wardrobe mostly consists of dress shirts and slacks. He has one violet vest that has faded from a rich color to a very faded, threadbare lavender. He always wears his dress shirts with the sleeves rolled to his elbows, and his boots are worn. He usually has a short, red tie around his neck that is lazily tied.
Personality: Harvey is an old, bitter man. He has a very cynical view of the world, and he is not quick to trust people. His experiences with people have left him with a sour view about the nature of human beings, and therefore, he doesn't associate with them too often. If one needs to find him, he's most often found in a tavern, drinking and smoking.
However, despite his bitterness, Harvey is a dependable man. When he is given a task, he will carry it out promptly (mostly out of the desire to be left alone again). He tries to stay out of arguments and is a very go-with-the-flow person. He is quick to make decisions, even if they are in his own self-interest.
History:
Harvey had a fairly normal childhood. He grew up in a family of five, with him being the eldest. He got along fairly well with his two younger siblings, Johnathan and Madeline, and he often acted as the male figure of the house since his father was often preoccupied with work.
He was actually the last of his siblings to meet his partner Pokémon. Harvey met Ellie when he was playing with a few of the kids from his neighborhood. She was scared and confused, and Harvey was the first of the boys to approach her. Ever since then, the two have been inseparable partners.
His family, unfortunately, was very poor. His father worked constantly and his mother had taken up a job in a textile mill when she wasn’t caring for her children. Unrest in the kingdom of Death Valley sent ripples through the peasantry. Harvey’s family was hit hard by the economic depression. His mother and father lost their jobs, leaving their family to either panhandle for money or beg for food. Members of the police would often shoo them away from the corners they were panhandling on, and in some cases, resorted to violence to get them to leave. This instilled a distrust for the law in Harvey.
When he turned 22, Harvey met a lovely Froslass woman named Beatrice. He was still living with his family at the time, being the only source of income that they had. He worked long hours at the docks hauling crates and other supplies onto fishing boats. Beatrice’s family, who were not hit as hard by the depression, still owned a bakery, and she often brought fresh bread to the men at the docks for lunch. Harvey and Beatrice seemed to hit it off straight away with him flirting with her and her giving him extra slices of bread whenever she could get some. After a few months of flirting like this, he finally worked up the nerve to ask her on a date. Little did he know that two years later, he would be happily married to her.
At 25, Harvey and Beatrice were blessed with a beautiful baby boy, who they named Leon. The couple had found a small, one room house to live in while his brother supplied the income for his family. For many years, the family lived relatively peacefully. Harvey was a proud father and an even harder worker.
When war broke out, Harvey was 34. He was drafted into the royal army as a willing and able man. Though his wife and son protested against him leaving, he swore to them that he would return safe and sound and life would return back to normal for them.
During his time in the army, though he displayed no truly special skills, Harvey was a dedicated soldier who went above and beyond to perform. His intense willpower and dedication served him well, as he slowly advanced through the ranks.
After the war, Harvey marched down the wrecked streets, feeling light as air. He felt so relieved to be home. But when he approached his small home, he found it burned to the ground. Full of fear, he ran to the bakery where Beatrice’s family worked, only to discover that both she and Leon had died in a mass arson.
Overcome with grief, Harvey turned to alcohol and tobacco to cope with the loss of his wife and son. He became bitter and angry, unwilling to interact with people positively. His brother and sister tried to coax him into returning home with them, but he reacted with animosity. He wanted to be left alone to mourn.
When he was requested to rejoin the Royal Guard as Guard Captain, Harvey initially declined. It was the war that had taken his wife and son from him, and he was in no way willing to return. However, his brother convinced him that he needed to do something other than drink or smoke, and he rejoined as Guard Captain.
Other Information:
• He always has cigarettes/tobacco on his person.
• Incidentally, he almost always keeps a flask full of whiskey on him as well.
• Never ask about his wife or son. If he has something to say about them, he will say it. The easiest way to assure that he will hate you is to start asking pervasive questions about his family.

Characteristic: Often lost in thought
Ability: Levitate ( The wielder is immune to Ground-type moves. )
Level: 65
Type(s): Ghost and Poison

3.) Focus Blast ( The user heightens its mental focus and unleashes its power. This may also lower the target’s Sp. Def. )
4.) Pain Split ( The user adds its HP to the target's HP, then equally shares the combined HP with the target. )
Personality: Eleanor, or more commonly called Ellie, takes more to her timid nature than Harvey does. She is very sheepish and is very rarely more than a few feet from her Trainer. Though she is initially shy, she is very sweet when she feels comfortable around people. She adores her Trainer, even if it doesn’t always seem like he adores her back in the same way. However, only fools would underestimate her strength. Though she is not as rugged or combative as her Trainer, Ellie is a very strong Pokémon and will jump to Harvey’s defense if he is struggling in a fight.
Extra:
• Ellie always has a pink satin ribbon around one of her ears. It was a gift from Harvey, and she gets very frantic if it is taken from her.
• Her favorite activity to do with Harvey is going to the marketplace. She has an affinity for shiny objects and will occasionally take things off of stands if she is not watched carefully.
Other Team Member(s)
Nickname: Francis
Species: Scrafty
Gender: Male
Nature: Jolly
Characteristic:
Ability: Shed Skin
Level: 59
Type(s): Dark and Fighting
Moveset:
1.) Dragon Dance ( The user vigorously performs a mystic, powerful dance that boosts its Attack and Speed stats. )

4.) Zen Headbutt ( The user focuses its willpower to its head and attacks the target. This may also make the target flinch. )
Personality: Francis is true to his Jolly nature. He’s a jovial prankster who loves to instigate trouble. Even if it does cause his Trainer grief, he will steal money, valuables, and sometimes even clothing from others. He doesn’t listen to Ellie very often, finding her to be too anxious. However, when Harvey puts his foot down, Francis is quick to behave. His good behavior doesn’t ever last for very long, unfortunately.
Extra:
• He is very sensitive about his hood. Only Harvey is allowed to pick him up by the hood. Anyone else runs the risk of being attacked.
• Francis is a biter. When feeding him, Harvey has to be careful to watch his fingers lest they be bit off.
