Diana is a gentle, sweet soul. She sees the best in people and believes even the worst people can change. She is kind, always going out of her way to help others. However, she finds it difficult to talk to people candidly, and lets people assert their will on her more often than not. A "yes" girl, she will stretch herself thin if it means that she can please everyone. She likes to choose the path of least resistance, even if it means ending up in bad situations. She is incredibly patient, tolerating things that would drive many people to drink. Despite her shyness and passiveness towards people her age or older, Diana absolutely adores children. She loves to play games, read to, and offer guidance to kids, and they seem to love her just as much as she loves them. Though she isn't an aggressive person, she will do just about anything to ensure a child's safety. She is a very creative person, and she loves to channel herself through music and dance. However, she has terrible stage fright, and is terrified to perform in front of anyone above the age of twelve.

Bad Habits:

She almost never makes eye contact with people, preferring to stare at her feet, the ground, or an object in the distance.

Chews her lip when she's nervous, will sometimes bite down so hard that she'll bleed.

As her characteristic states, she's often lost in thought and will think about a problem rather than act to solve it. She can also be a bit spacey.

Fiddles with her hair constantly, doesn't really know what to do with her hands in conversation.

History:
Diana comes from an affluent family with many problems. Her mother and father divorced when she was very young, causing her to shut down in front of people aside from her mother and elder stepbrother, Abel. She stuck closely by Abel's side, a deeply troubled boy who lashed out violently at anyone who dared mock his sister. She became dependent on his presence to even speak in front of other people, which earned her a lot of taunting and teasing from her classmates. As she grew, her social anxiety improved slightly, but she became incredibly critical of herself. She resented herself for being "abnormal" and did a lot of unpleasant things to ensure that she was liked by her peers. She had taken up babysitting as a high school student and fell in love with it, so she decided when she went off to college, she would pursue an education degree.

However, she was unprepared for the pressure college put onto her. Between all of her classes, a daycare job, babysitting jobs, and attempting to have a social life, Diana was on the verge of a mental breakdown. When she saw the commercial calling people to a strange island, she decided that it was time to take a vacation!

Unfortunately, when their ship wrecked, Diana found that her vacation had taken a turn for the worse. Armed with the only book she could save from her luggage, she traveled up the mountain path in the hopes of finding other people. She met a man named Blues, and, indebted to him for saving her life, decided that she would stay with him as long as there was no way off the island.

Trivia:

She can play guitar and piano, and has written a few songs (though she will probably never show those).

Though all adults and teens make her anxious, men bring out the worst possible anxiety in her.

Thanks to her incredibly strong vocal chords and expanded lung capacity, she is able to scream at levels as high as 130 dB. However, she chooses to speak as quietly as she can. Be wary of startling her.
