This crazy kitchen scene - it's taken me weeks. I thought it would be an easy sketch but no! At least I learned a lot about perspective. I ended up colouring it twice as I couldn't make up my mind on some things. I knew the cabinets were white and the ceiling beams wood, but should the kitchen floor be wood? I ended up making the living room floor wood and the kitchen tiled. On the plus side, I found out that there are free texture brushes I can download on FireAlpaca which made the cool effects of wood and the patterened wallpaper. I can't wait to explore more of them!
