Since this extra round was (hopefully) a surprise to ya’ll, the lack of expectation gave me a cool sense of freedom when interpreting the franchises. As much as it was meant as a gift to you viewers, in the process it became the same for me too.

For round 36, Precure seemed like the most stupefying research I would ever do. But that’s only because I hadn’t opened the JJBA wikia before. What a fantastically outlandish world. And humorously, perhaps the exact antitheses of Assassin’s Creed’s realism. But with their common focus on descendants, ancestors and family trees, I actually found them to be a perfect match – the Assassin’s “A” insignia was kind of ridiculously easy to transform into a JJBA star - haha!

I've tended to subdue my style’s angularity for Franchise Remix, to accommodate the various themes. But I always wanted to go full-force aguilar- I mean angular. And the silhouettes here felt like the perfect opportunity to do so – such fun.

I wanted to make sure all the Jojos were recognizable, so I decided to straight-up number them – haha! Regarding Mr Blank on the far right – just ask yourself who comes before 1? ;D
