Once upon a time there was a fool. The fool was everyone's darling because you could make fun of him. One day the magician had an idea. He wanted to send the fool to High Priestess so that he could do tasks there and tell the Empress that the fool in the church is making mischief. That would lure the Empress to the church and give the magician access to the throne of the Empress, since the ruler is traveling. He would leave a special chloroform on the throne which would make the Empress dizzy and he would ask the Empress (and confirm in writing) if he could use the forbidden books in the treasury for his experiments. The fool learned of the plan when he came to visit the magician and heard him talk to himself about the plan. That brought him to a tricky idea. When he did the tasks with the High Priestess, he told the High Priestess that the magician wanted to talk to her about the forbidden books. The High Priestess, knowing that the magician asked the ruler about the books, went directly to the magician, who discovered a new element with the knowledge of the forbidden books. The High Priestess discussed with the magician how dangerous the books were and dragged the magician with the books to the Empress because she could not believe that she gave him permission. When they left, the fool came out of hiding. He was already laughing when he saw the newly discovered element on the table. It was a black liquid that did not penetrate. Without thinking, the fool pocketed the vial of the item and went to the throne room. There he saw the High Priestess and the magician discussing with the Empress. The Empress was still in a dazed state and the fool told the High Priestess that the throne had to be washed. The mage, now understanding that the fool had found his plan, threw one of the forbidden books after him to chase him away. But the fool dodged and fell down. The apulle with the item fell out of its pockets and splintered on the ground. The black element swung around and seemed to be expanding. The magician, the Empress and the High Priestess tried everything to stop it but were seized by the element. The fool ran away in shock. The element occupied the entire castle, the entire valley ....
When the ruler returned from his journey and saw the entire valley in black mud, he fell to his knees. He looked around to see if anyone was there. When he saw the fool leaning against one tree, he ran to him and asked what had happened. The fool explained everything to him. Every ruler had given way to the ruler. But he asked the fool one thing. "Can you tell me a joke for the old days?" And the fool said, "What creature can do anything and nothing at the same time? Which creature can make everything good and bad? Which creature is a joke?" The fool went up to the ruler's chariot and pointing to his arm, which was very slowly covered by the element. He climbed on the ruler's chariot and just before he left and left the ruler alone with the element he said: "The Fool"

(Es war einmal ein Narr. Der Narr war jedermanns liebling weil man sich über ihn lustig machen konnte. Eines Tages hatte der Magier eine Idee. Er wollte den Narr zu Hohepriesterin schicken damit der dort Aufgaben erledigt und die Kaiserin erzählen das der Narr in der Kirche unfug macht. Das würde die Kaiserin zur Kirche locken und dem Magier den Zutritt zum Thron der Kaiserin geben, da der Herrscher grad auf Reisen ist. Er würde ein spezelles Chloroform auf dem Thron hinterlassen was die Kaiserin benommen machen würde und er würde die Kaiserin fragen (und schriftlich bestätigen lassen) ob er die verbotenen Bücher in der Schatzkammer für seine Experimente benutzen könnte. Der Narr erfuhr von dem Plan als er den Magier besuchen wollte und ihn mit sich selbst über den Plan reden hörte. Das brachte ihn auf eine trickreiche Idee. Als er bei der Hohepriesterin die Aufgaben erledigt erzählte er der Hohepristerin das der Magier mit ihr über die verbotenen Bücher sprechen wollte. Die Hohepriesterin wohlwissend das der Magier den Herrscher schonmal über wegen den Bücher gefragt hat, ging direkt zum Magier der mit dem Wissen aus den verbotenen Büchern ein neuer Element entdeckte. Die Hohepriesterin diskutierte mit dem Magier wie gefährlich die Bücher wahren und zerrte den Magier mit den Büchern zur Kaiserin weil sie nicht glauben konnte das sie ihm die Erlaubnis gab. Als sie gegangen waren kam der Narr aus seinem Versteck. Er lachte schon in sich hinein als er das neu entdeckte Element auf dem Tisch sahr. Es war eine schwartze Flüssigkeit die nichts durchdrang. Ohne Nachzudenken steckte der Narr das Fläschen mit dem Element ein und ging in den Thronsaal. Dort sah er die Hohepriesterin und den Magier mit der Kaiserin diskutiern. Die Kaiserin war immer noch in einem benommenen Zustand und der Narr erzählte der Hohepriesterin das der Thron mal gewaschen werden musste. Der Magier der nun verstand das der Narr seinen Plan rausfand, warf eins der verbotenen Bücher nach ihm um ihn zu verjagen. Doch der Narr wich aus und fiel hin. Die Apulle mit dem Element fiel aus seinen Taschen und zerspliterte auf dem Boden. Das Schwartze Element schlug umsich und schien sich aus zuweiten. Der Magier, die Kaiserin und die Hohepriesterin versuchten alles um es zu stoppen aber wurden vom Element erfasst. Der Narr rannte in schock davon. Das Element nahm das geamte Schloss ein, das gesamte Tal....
Als der Herrscher von seiner Reise zurückehrte und das gesamte Tal in schwartzen Schlamm sahr, brach er auf die Knie. Er schaute sich um ob irgendjemand da war. Als er den Narr der am einen Baum lehnte sah, rannte er zu ihm hin und fragte was passiert ist. Der Narr erklärte ihm alles. Von dem Herrscher war jedes Leben gewichen. Aber er fragte den Narr eine Sache. "Kannst du mir ein Witz erzählen? Für die alten Zeiten?" Und der Narr sagte: "Welches Wesen kann alles und gleichzeitig nichts? Welches Wesen kann alles gut und schlecht machen? Welches Wesen ist ein WITZ?" Der Narr ging bis zum Wagen des Herrschers und auf seinen Arm zeigend, der vom Element sehr langsam immer weiter bedeckt wurde. Er stieg auf dem Herrschers chariot und kurz bevor der wegfuhr und den Herrscher alleine lies mit den Element sagte er: "Der Narr")
