Description
Dr. Yenny, a self-proclaimed gonzo herpetologist, was fairly renowned in her scientific circles. Yen was never afraid to go the extra mile to find the most obscure snakes and amphibians.
Within the Amazon rainforest, locals for generations used salt to keep snakes away from their villages. Yen of course knew salting to be nothing but a myth - snakes don't mind salt any more than people do.
However, new reports of a snake that seemingly evolved to feed off salt after hundreds of years of indigenous folks throwing it about was an incredible find! Like a moth to a flame, she packed up her gear and headed into the jungle determined to find it.
Her first mistake was misjudging the strength of the Bird-Catching Spider's web. Her regular yoga workouts were not enough to free her. Her second and largest mistake was going it alone.
Stuck in a web that may have been made of of rope Yen learned that there really was a snake that was attracted by salt, which the sweat of her body readily supplied. She also learned that whatever chemical was secreted by the snake's tongue made her skin ten times as sensitive. In this case, she became more ticklish than she thought was humanly possible!
Her colleague, Dr. Shelly would later build upon Yen's findings, creating a synthetic version even more powerful. That was of course after many hours of laughter induced torture suffered by poor Dr. Yenny. Locals eventually found her exhausted and smiling by following the sounds of her laughter.
