Cheetles are the close cousins of crubs. They are very similar in a lot of ways, have the same eating habits, and reproduce asexually. The main difference between the two is that while crubs have evolved to conquer land, Cheetles are primarily deep sea creatures. They spend their days rolling across the seafloor, eating whatever they may find. Their juveniles are just smaller versions of themselves.
It isn't uncommon to find Cheetles washed up upon the shore, although they are rarely alive. Their meat is identical to that of a crub's except it is gooey and gumlike in texture- you either love it or hate it (Usually it's hated).
In rare scenarios, Cheetles will wash up alive. They show no desire to return home, and strangely, make good pets. They form bonds with staxies, eating their trash and showing affection and emotion, like a weird looking cat.
Hybrids of crubs and cheetles have been seen on occasion. Nobody knows where they come from but it's presumed their eggs 'merge' somehow when they are very young, and all sorts of strange mixes pop out. None of these hybrids have been known to produce any eggs of their own, and nobody has had the heart to try their meat.

So, here's my first creature!! It's simple and I like it and I'm totally not trying to make sense of Cheeto being real outside of the context of 'fucked up crub'.
Either way, these silly guys are fun to draw at least!!
