This is Anna, a model I was very close with. We were having a deep conversation in between sets one day, on a deeply personal subject that... well, you can read the emotion.

She was about to change into a dress, but then just sat there and said something to me that really broke my heart. I looked up and saw her expression, the way she was looking at me, and couldn't think of anything to say in response. I grabbed my camera, aimed it in her direction, using the screen, (not looking through the lense), and snapped the image.

I have gone back and forth about sharing this shot, it's one of the most deeply personal photo's I have ever taken, on both ends. But I suppose that's what photography is about, right?
