since school's out, I wanted to do my own drawing...the line art of this one was actually done several years ago,
but I never successfully finish coloring it.
Now I took it out and thougth it was SOOOOOO bad....llb
and so I had to start over with this image.
this is the 3rd copy of the original line art...a lot of changes in style of course...^^a
well, at last I finished this...
for my dear Flora and Ren...

p.s. I create an artwork to celebrate their birthday every year, but this year due to many issues I wasn't able to....

I would be amazed if someone could do shinies like that with just coloured pencils! course I'm amazed at your ability to colort with prismas...I suck at coloring with them....*sigh* Oh well...guess I'm just worthless...can't colour with coloured pencils, can't colour on the computer.....

I'll try doing the shines with colored pencils next time....
You are able to do it, but you just need to plan out the shining parts and leave them absolutely white.
(I didn't plan my picture out....XDllll)

when I was in junior high, I did not know how to use colored pencils at all!

I didn't even know you can use computer to draw other than using Microsoft Windows Paint...=x=

Yeah...I harly ever plan out my drawings, and when I do, I end up just drawing completely different from what I planned....yeah..I've been drawing since I was in midle school and I still can't colour on the computer or with coloured pencils....of course, I've never taken an art class in my life...maybe that has something to do with it..my sister is in middle school now and she is in art class, and she's already learned a bunch of techniquies for coloured pencils and she's only been in the class for 6 weeks....I don't plan on giving up drawing, I actually plan on going to art school and getting a career in art if I decide that I don't like being a biogenetics engineer/ botanist...so who knows there may still be hope for me! Thank you I'm glad you like my pictures. I like your's a lot too!!

I started practice drawing horses during junior high school!
(because I wanted to draw the horse Epona from the Zelda game...)
once you can draw horses right, there is not a problem making it a unicorn~^^
look at reference photos or drawings, study it and try to copy it~
it really helps...^w^!
