I wish we had an Illustrative category. Anyway, here's my attempt to continue the Forgotten Fairytales series (in vain). But I think it thoroughly spells my obsession with J.W. Waterhouse. ^^
Yes it was freezing cold when we did the shoot. I've a knack for torturing my models, we've established that by now.

-Very rarely do I find art on DA inspiring enough to want to own- excellent job. Reminds me of myself frankly; caught in a surreal daze of everything external. [link] -If you have any interest in provoked feelings this song suits this mood perfectly.

It seems as the the dress is a part of the water, as if she has just emerged and the dress is how the murky waters weemed to hang on her. The pale Beauty of her skin and her red hair are a perfect contrast to the stark colours in the backround, and they also harmonise well with the small flowers on the branches. The pose works suprisingly well, because although it looks almost rigid, it makes her seem as though she is a part of the water even more, as if she is trapped there, almost.

Ironically I favorite this photograph months ago but now i'm reading a book with a vampire named Lilith who very much likes hurting. She reminds me of the (evil) vampire in the book so I like her even more now.
