When I first saw this one I had to show my mom! I love your locations to death, and the fact that you use a model usually having this soft, flawless skin and wearing soft fabrics against the harsh backrounds/locations... I just love it. But this one really blows me away, not only do you have those elements but there is such incredible movement here, AND on top of THAT, you've caught it at such a stunning moment. As much as it has all these contrasting elements (which I love) the photo is so well balanced (in terms of composition).
I love that the fabric is black - so bold, strong but so flowy and feminine and I don't think another colour would have worked as well in this particular pic.
I could just stare at it for ages. Def one of my faves. Love it.

I have always wondered how you do these crisp caught-in-the-moment photos of yours. What was your shutter speed and ISO, and did you use flash for this photo?
I hope you don't mind me asking, I'm just at awe at your technique and talent

this one's pure natural light. i can't remember the shutter speed, but i had to push the ISO to 800 or 1600 i think. shutter usually have to be about faster than 350 in order to freeze decently, this might have been around that.
