Description
While Renard Roux means Red Fox, some think it should be translated at Renard Rouge, but that is a direct translation and not the actual name of the animal. Roux here is a "beast lord", a subset of heroes and villains in the Zenith Universe, who are imbued with powers via mystic animal lords (the actual Beast Lords), which allows them to achieve 3 stages normal human (still slightly empowered), full animal (with all the abilities of said animal) and then hybrid form (most powerful) which is a "were-animal" style. They also spend most of their lives hunting each other, absorbing each others power source, getting stronger as they do, until one is left and can challenge an existing Beast Lord for their position and become a god. If a beast lord dies and no other beast lord is present to absorb their energy it finds a new host, providing a great origin point. Whew that was a lot
