I'm a traditional artist by nature and blue yellow color blind so if I say something odd about colors that's why/
And I have to say this is a wonderful piece you got here. You have a nice balance between the technical and the natural forms. While it clearly leans towards nature it has enough geometry that one can tell it's both machine combined with nature, without taking heavily on the mechanical aspects. This makes it very appealing to the eye, along with the broad range of colors. The lack of detail in the background shows you understand focus and depth, even if that wasn't you r intention its a good technique to know.Β
I would like to say that there are a few things that may help improve the piece would be as follows. (For future reference too.
Your central object is clearly in a opening in a forest of some kind. You have a clear definitive area the forest covers, they darker, and the opening area is lighter with less foliage and a opening to the sky and giving a clear light source. But if you were to add more to the foreground, the area closest to the POV of the viewer, add some more darker turns, bushes, or vines, this could really help bring out the lighter areas and give a sense of depth to the picture. This and a few darker shades in the background portions would also help create that sense of depth, while not taking away from the lighting you have, and maybe a few darker shades of colors for the bottom of you central portal. Over a well done piece and I look forward to viewing more of your work in the future! XD Keep it up!
