a very old (two years?) reptiblr secret santa for axolotlapothecary , of their adorable axolotl Fen!! I have such a backlog of art I never posted here.... While technically this is an amphibian, that community of tumblr is much smaller so we all kind of lump together.

Before this I had never drawn one of these guys proper, but man did it remind me how much fun nature was. Axolotls are something else. I researched plants that were species-safe for accuracy of the image; the plants pictured are Elodea, Anubias Isabelle, and of course the moss ball because Fen has one.
