lol, just wanted to mess around with this game again. Here's Atomik being a fool around nuAkshira while Claws confused on why's he in this hoaxshot.i didn't hack it, i just mess around the VBA layers, screenshot each of them, and edit them with the ripped Sonic Battle sprites i had.
but, as of 2016, you ARE able to replace sprites in Sonic Battle. our friends at Sonic Retro made a romhacking tool, called Sonic Battle Hack Suite, where you can edit the sprites, dialogue, and many more in Sonic Battle. though as of now, you can only properly edit Sonic's/Shadow's stance animation in this.
