There are no gradients in SAI. I just draw and stuff. I do backgrounds in Photoshop.

Thanks for drawing Vassi, he came out extremely well! I love how you have his hair moving about as the pages of his book swirl around him! The redesign to his staff is superb as well, a real wizard-staff design! I like the way you colored his clothes, too! Not just the cell shading but also what colors going where. Normally, he's mostly purple with black details, but here he's mostly black with purple details which is just as awesome! His expression, activity, clothes and all else really says "Vassi", so well done! ^^ Thanks a ton!
