Zip (I assume that's the Pikachu's name) is allot like my character, Ecko. Ecko is a dragon (or pony for MLP) who uses echolocation to make up for the fact that she's blind, just like Zip. Her eyes even have that milky appearance. Although, where his eyes are milky white pupils, Ecko doesn't even have pupils (unless you count the center of the gradient of her eyes, white in the center, and fades to gray as it heads outwords.
Either way, Zip uses his sparks to "feel" his surroundings, and Ecko uses sound to "hear" her surroundings.

I gave her that pouting face to emphasize that no matter how happy she seems, there's always gonna be a part of her that's upset because of her blindness.
