Science and magic seem to go hand in hand, Twilight is trying to make a new compound that quickens the rate at which Unicorns restore their magical energy (or a mana potion if you will ), it could definitely be useful if somepony exhausted themselves in a fight.

She thought it would be a good idea to enlist her friendly guard pony for help, though it's been awhile since Zephyr has done any chemistry... let's just hope he doesn't blow something up.
