The group of soldiers stood behind the hill. 2 of them, both blue, one also colored with silver and his ally featuring red flames, poked their rifles over. Their spies had informed them, now they were preparing.

"Eastside, Prime! 1 minute away from attacking!" a smaller red car suddenly called out, lowering his binoculars and pulling a pistol from subspace. Prime nodded.

"Bluestreak, Tracks, now! Before they get to the humans!" the Autobot commander called out. The snipers eagerly aimed towards the area their enemy was approaching, and fired off. One of Tracks's shots connected with a grey plane's tailfin, causing the jet to screech and revert to robot mode. Starscream. With that, the battle began.

Soundwave transformed, releasing Buzzsaw as he went. The golden condor flew towards the group, raking his claws against Cosmos' chest, but the bird was quickly shot away by Grapple. In retaliation, Cosmos transformed, opting to out-shoot Ramjet. The UFO was quickly backed up by Hound, who forced the white Conehead to target both of them, one with his missiles and one simply by ramming.

Meanwhile, Windcharger was trying to shoot Ravage, but the spy was too quick. The hacker couldn't even subspace his pistol to use his magnets before the feline tackled him, causing a good bit of damage to the red robot's neck and shoulders. Finally Bluestreak noticed and took out the black Decepticon. Smokescreen quickly snatched his magnetic friend and dumped him by Grapple, causing the architect to begin repairs.

With his injured foot, Starscream chose to go hand-to-hand, landing in order to swiftly kick Hound in the back. However, he accidentally kicked with his bad foot, causing him to scream in pain. This opened up Huffer's chance to sock the 2IC, using his powerful arms to take the treacherous Decepticon out of battle.

Blitzwing, however had other ideas. Aiming carefully, he shot the rock face where Tracks was busy sniping Soundwave. As he fell, the vain robot turned into his flight mode. Optimus Prime then shot off the triple-changer's cannon, forcing Blitzwing to take to the skies.

Suddenly Megatron snapped his fingers, and a familiar set of rotors was heard. Vortex flew in, dropping off Swindle and Brawl as he went. Onslaught soon drove up, while Blast Off flew in. The silver tyrant only smirked as the Autobots realized the tide had turned.

"Cosmos!" Prime called to the flier. "I need you to alert the backup team to our situation!" As the pudgy spy flew off, the Matrix-bearer turned to his troops. "Bluestreak, Hound, with me. We need to delay Bruticus. Huffer, Tracks, Smokescreen, hold off the other Decepticons until Grapple gets Windcharger fixed. Roll out." As the troops scurried into position, Bluestreak began to fire on Vortex, taking out one of the flier's rotors. The helicopter merely landed to fight back.

Meanwhile, Swindle's cannon was taken out by Hound. The tan robot shrugged and wipeout a smaller pistol. Finally, Onslaught called for Bruticus. As the Autobots watched in horror the combiner merged.

At the same time, however, a distinct roaring of engines was heard, and a grey rocket appeared, accompanied by Cosmos and a friendly red A-10. The jet flew ahead to snipe Blitzwing. " You called for back-up? Powerglide's here to win the fight!" He was swiftly joined by Cosmos, the two spinning around and taunting their target.

The rocket opened a hatch on the side, and a small squad jumped out. Ratchet, Sunstreaker, Warpath, Sideswipe, and Bumblebee joined the fight. The former of the group began to assist Grapple, taking care of Huffer, who had lost an arm to one of Ramjet's missiles. The other four joined the battle, with Bumblebee guarding the medical team, while Warpath helped snipe. The Twins joined in the melee.

Taking his claw arm, he punched Bruticus in the chest. The combiner retaliated by pointing his knee as he fell, and he shot off Brawl's cannon. The shell hit Omega's shoulder, and the giant spun.

As the massive robots fought, Optimus and Megatron faced off. The red 'bot drew his axe, while the grey one attacked with his mace. The leader of the Autobots blocked the assault, and retaliated, hacking at Megatron's leg. This tactic worked, and the gun snarled as he lost a good bit of Energon from the gash. Suddenly, a load groan was heard, and everyone watched as Bruticus separated. As he looked around, Megatron realized that his only remaining attacking troops were Ramjet and Ravage. "Decepticons, retreat!" Megatron called. They all flew off into the distance, hoping to fight another day. The Autobots cheered, before they rolled back to base, with Ratchet taking the most injured into Prime's trailer. They had won for the day.
