Description Bit Man did not want to be seen by any of his brethren right now. He was doing one of the most un-Bit Man things ever, and he was almost certain at least a good bunch of them would laugh at him.

He was reading.

Well, the way the book was positioned, it looked like he was. And it wasn't even a reading book. It was a book of mazes.

Ever since he had gone through the simulation inside CRORQ, he had become a fan of mazes, as that was how he had remodeled his area in the false scenario. And, snooping about the castle, he had found a nice big book of them. It was probably either one of Wily's or maybe a former resident. Even so, if someone tried to take it back, he'd kick their ass all the way to Symphony City.

Finishing up  a fairly easy one, he heard footsteps nearby. Familiar footsteps. Scrambling to hide the book, along with a pencil, he breathed a sigh of relief as he saw it was only Volt Man, who was the most reasonable of the CRQ series, and their leader.

"What are you doing sitting in the hall, Bit Man?" Volt inquired in his soft monotone. He saw the book (which Bit was trying to sit on), but said nothing of it.

Giving an awkward smile, not realizing his older sibling had seen his book, Bit replied, "I'm waiting for another guy so I can, uh, trip 'em. You saw me, so I can't, ah, trip you. "

Not buying it for a second, Volt Man decided to let his fellow electric-bot have some freedom. "Just don't get anyone too important, like Metal or Enker. We want to live, you know."

Nodding, Bit Man breathed a sigh of relief as the red bot walked off. Turning back to his book he began tracing the path to the exit. Then he heard another set of steps. A set of slow but light strides that hid the snottiness behind them. Torch Man.

Barely managing to hide his book, he turned to face his 2nd least favorite brother, after the ever-kiddy Sonic Man. "What do you want, Torch?"

Torch just glared. "Figures you'd be lazing off in the hallway rather than helping." Rolling his eyes, the fiery robot master walked off, calling back, "One of these days Metal or Volt is gonna kick you out, and I'll be the star of the CRQ numbers."

Bit just huffed and turned back to his book. How he despised Torch Man's strictness. Torch always wanted to be the best. Sure, the Torch Arm could melt his armor a good bit, but the dude couldn't hit up close like Bit could.

These thoughts, along with completing the latest maze, which had been a little hard, distracted Bit from hearing the third set of footsteps.

"Bit?! Are you...reading?!" a voice snapped Bit from his book, Someone had discovered him! He saw that it was Shark Man that had found him out.

However, unlike the animal Shark was based on, he was somewhat of a wimp, and Bit knew this. Drawing up to his full height (about a head taller than Shark), he stared coldly at the now petrified Shark. "You know how good the Bit Cannon is on you, right?" Not waiting for an answer, he continued seething. "So how about you scram and don't tell anyone, or you get a Bit Cannon in a veeeeery unfortunate place!" Shark shook his head as fast as he could, and ran off in the opposite direction.

Sighing, Bit decided to pack away his book and head off to the training area. He felt like beating someone up.
