I watched Cynthia with my mouth agape as I contemplated my current position. Cynthia was really close to me, I had just recently kissed her. And liked it, I added a mental note. On top of that, I was relatively sure that I found Cynthia to be extremely cute and sexy at the moment. And I didn't bother to think twice about it this time.
"Zee," I heard Cynthia call out my name breathlessly. It then came to my attention that at the current moment, Cynthia was lying beneath me in a rather... suggestive... position, and I was hovering right on top of her. My heart was beating like crazy and my mind grew hazy. My reason was fading quickly and I could feel a primal urge to go further. With Cynthia the way she was now, without a hint of hesitation, it was making it extremely hard for me to resist the temptation. Cynthia's half-lidded eyes made my mind go crazy, tempting me to make her moan out my name. What the hell... am I doing, I thought absentmindedly. I knew what I was doing was wrong, but at the same time it just felt right. I felt like I wanted this, I wished for this. This was something that I craved. I took notice that Cynthia's eyes had turned darker with lust. The primal feeling I had tried so hard to resist finally overrun my mind. I felt my reason leave me, and my instincts took over completely.

I awoke to bright sunlight peering through the window of the bedroom. I groggily rubbed my eyes, noting that today was rather cold for some odd reason. Plus, I felt sweaty and very exhausted. I scanned the room for a bit and noticed a figure laying next to me. After focusing my eyes, I came to realize that it was Cynthia, sleeping peacefully next to me. I smiled, thankful that she looked so peaceful in her sleep. That is, until I looked down.

And noticed that I was naked.

I began to panic a bit, trying to remember what had happened the day before. Why am I naked, I wondered frantically as I scanned the room for my clothes. Sure enough, I noticed my trade-mark sleeveless vest, my shirt, khakis, and all other articles of clothing that I own sprawled all over the bedroom. What made things worse for me was that I noticed some clothes that belonged to Cynthia as well, scattered throughout the room in the same manner as my own clothes. "Oh no," I gulped, "I did not..." With my hands shaking like mad I slowly lifted the bed covers that protected me and Cynthia from the cold of the morning. What I saw made my face burn brighter than the African Desert. Cynthia was also very much naked. And just as sweaty as I was. Oh. My God, I thought to myself as I slowly came to the realization, I just did it with Cynthia last night, didn't I?
A sudden moan from the girl next to me snapped me out of my thoughts, and I froze. I watched as Cynthia slowly sat up in the bed, rubbing her eyes. She slowly turned her eyes to me and smiled sweetly.
"Morning Zee," she cooed softly. I swallowed hard.
"M-morning," I replied, clearly flustered. Cynthia giggled. She turned her body towards me, letting the bed sheets roll off her form. I gasped loudly and quickly turned away, shutting my eyes and blushing madly. My breath hitched when I felt Cynthia embrace me from behind, her... um... chest pressed against my back.
"There's no need to be so shy, Zee," she continued, her hot breath brushing against my ear, "You've already explored me plenty enough to know me well, didn't you?" Oh my god I actually did it with her, my mind screamed. I quickly scrambled out of the bed and threw on my clothes as fast as I possibly could, trying my best not to mind that Cynthia was watching me in a very amused manner. I put on my vest and cleared my throat, turning to Cynthia with as straight of a face as I could.
"Cynthia, whatever happened last night I am totally sorry," I quickly tried to apologize, "I didn't know what came over me and-"
"Oh Zee, that's hilarious," Cynthia giggled over my flustered state, "You know I didn't mind at all." I groaned. This was just ridiculous. At any rate, with my emotions so confused I didn't know what to make of the entire situation at all.

I made my way downstairs and was greeted with three adults with smug grins on their faces. I raised my eyebrow suspiciously. Jack walked over to me and leaned towards my ear.
"If you're going to have a good time with her, try to keep her voice down," he said smugly. I turned bright red as he drew away. Damien snickered and Marge tried to stifle her own laughter.
"Sh-shut up," I tried to say with authority, but ended up squeaking instead. Jack laughed and put his hands up in surrender.
"Relax, Zee, we're just messing with you," he said, still smiling, "Well, for the laughing bit at least. I didn't think you two would hook up so late."
"I said- wait what?" I looked to Jack in confusion. Late?
"I thought it was obvious that Cynthia wanted you, Zee. Can't believe you of all people didn't notice that," Damien snickered.
"We thought that you two were a thing for a while, but I didn't think you were this dense," Marge mused playfully.
"Was it really that obvious?" I heard Cynthia's voice as she came downstairs fully dressed as well. I looked up and felt my breath leave me. She looked as she normally did, but for some reason I found her to be much more beautiful than ever. Was it because of what happened the night before? I shook my head in an attempt to dispel those thoughts, but as I returned my attention to Cynthia, I gave up trying.
"Um, well...," Damien began to say before trailing off. I glanced over to Damien, wondering what had happened when I took notice of something. Just outside the house were a series of noises. Human voices, to be more precise. Soon, everyone took notice, their expressions growing serious at the new development.
"What do we do, boss?" Jack asked me, his hand hovering over his pistol.
"Keep a low profile for now. Damien, Marge, check the windows and see if you can spot something," I ordered quickly. Damien and Marge gave me curt nods and rushed to the windows, crouching to stay low. I took a knee and motioned for Cynthia and Jack to do the same, to which they both obliged.
"Something tells me that this has to do with the lady that got away," I told them in a hushed tone.
    "Reinforcements?" Cynthia asked, slightly scared.
"Probably. She could have been apart of a bigger group," Jack responded analytically. I turned to see Damien and Marge crouching over to us.
"I saw that same woman from yesterday," Marge reported with a grim expression on her face.
"She's got two other guys with her. Armed pretty heavily," Damien continued, "Vested, plenty of ammo. Guns include one AK-47, one two 9mm Glocks as side arms on each guy, and one M16. The woman's also armed herself with an M4 Carbine. They look serious about this."
"Dammit," I cursed under my breath. I felt a hand on my shoulder. Cynthia looked at me in silent support. I nodded thanks and stood up.
"Well, I don't think I have much of a choice but to head out," I announced to them, "All of you will come with me. Things are about to get ugly, so watch yourselves." Everyone nodded confirmation, and I turned to the door, heading outside to confront the woman once more.

"Well, aren't you a tough one," I heard her silky voice as I emerged from the house. Just as Marge and Damien saw, she had two guys with her, and all three of them were armed rather heavily. I had my knives sheathed in my belt with Cynthia to my right, hugging my arm tightly. Marge walked on my left, almost as close as Cynthia, but she held two pistols tightly in her hands. Jack stood beside her, shotgun armed and ready to fire, and Damien matched him on my right with an assault rifle in hand.
"Tough luck for you, I'm not dead yet," I replied to her with confidence. I needed to choose my words carefully; one misstep and I could lose everyone today.
"Oh don't you worry about that hun. I'm rather glad you aren't dead yet," the woman replied to me, waving a hand at her two guys, "That means there's still a chance for you to redeem yourself." I instinctively stepped in front of Cynthia with knives drawn, who shrunk behind me when the two men raised their weapons. Jack and Damien did the same, and Marge merely drew her own, raising a protective arm in front of Cynthia.
"How about this," the woman spoke, keeping her hand raised, "You, hun, step forward and have your group lower their weapons."
"Excuse us?!" Damien shouted, clearly angry, "After your two men have their weapons pointed at this group for about the second time? Please."
"Damien," I called with my voice low. He bit his tongue as I had hoped; I didn't want any more bloodshed if I could avoid it. I did as she said and motioned for everyone to lower their weapons. As they did so, I stepped forward and felt a tug on the back of my vest stopping me.
"Please don't go," I heard Cynthia whisper. She sounded frightened. I sighed and turned around. In the back of my mind throughout this entire fiasco I had been thinking about Cynthia and how I felt about everything that happened between us both. I guess it could never really leave my mind, considering that I had... well, that... with her. Not to mention that I held no real reservation for it myself. I find her to be a beautiful girl who is very sexy when she's in the mood, I noted to myself, and she is probably the only person who has really seen me outside of who I have to be as this group's leader. I knew that Damien and Jack had known me for the longest time, but they just didn't try to understand what kind of a person I really was. To them, I was a dependent teenager who could stand her ground alone if she had to.

"What's the hold up, huh? We don't have too long, darling," the woman was growing impatient. I didn't bother to acknowledge her at the moment. My attention was to the girl crying in front of me; Cynthia, the one who didn't want me to leave her side. I smiled warmly and placed a hand on her shoulder, prompting her to look up. Her eyes were misty from crying, and it gave me that same feeling as last night. That desire to comfort her and wipe her tears away. Instead of hesitating as I had done so many times before, I felt no hesitation when I closed my eyes and kissed her. Out of instinct. And on the lips. It earned a few gasps from Damien, Jack and Marge as well as a surprised "oooh" from the woman. Cynthia and I remained this way for a few more moments until I broke away to let Cynthia catch her breath.
"I won't be long. Promise," I whispered softly to Cynthia, keeping our faces close. Jack whistled in approval as I pulled away, turning to face the woman once more and stepping forward towards her.
"How cute. No wonder you nearly died protecting her," the woman mused, a smug smile tugging at her lips. I bit back a response, knowing that in my current situation anything I say can be used against me. I was livid with this disgusting woman, and I didn't want to give her satisfaction any time soon. I gathered my thoughts as I stood just a few feet away from her now. The woman smiled in a sickly manner, throwing her hand down. Before I could even react, her two men opened fire at my group.

I didn't dare to look back in the case that the woman could strike at me through the distraction of my group getting shot at. I held confidence that they could handle themselves, smiling as her two men dropped one by one a few moments after the entire fiasco began. What I didn't plan for was for her to stick her M4 at my chest, her smile only growing wider.
"Finally, your mine," the woman spoke in a creepily calming manner, "I finally have you as my little pet to play with."
"You sick woman," I cursed at her. She cocked the gun at me once more, and I could only stand there with bated breath. I could hear the frantic footsteps of everyone else rushing behind me. The woman gripped my shoulder and held up her M4 for them to see.
"Not so fast, everyone," she called out. The footsteps halted, and I could just feel the heat of their anger from my position.
"What the hell are you planning to do with our leader?" Damien shouted back. I could hear the faint whimpers of a worried Cynthia, and that sound alone nearly killed me. The woman laughed, dropping her M4 as she took out a military knife hidden in her skirt.
"Simple. This," the woman barely spoke loud enough to hear as she plunged the knife into my chest. I let out a pained gasp, doubling over from the sudden pain of metal tearing through my skin and muscle. Cynthia screamed, and I heard Jack whip his shotgun up again.
"I wouldn't do that," the woman raised her voice, now sounding a bit mad, "I could easily flip her around and use her as my shield. You don't want to hurt your precious leader, do you?" I heard Jack click his mouth in frustration. I can't believe this, I mentally slapped myself. The woman pulled out her blade from my stomach, spinning me around from my shoulder and positioning the now bloody knife against my throat for all of them to see.
"You will pay for hurting my reputation like this," the woman said in a crazed fashion, "I will make sure that you all suffer for what you've done." I could only watch as four pairs of pained eyes focused on the woman that held me captive. I didn't know what to do; I couldn't move, and if I did she might kill me outright. I tried to remain calm, collecting my thoughts and trying to come up with some sort of way out of this mess. Unfortunately, the woman had other ideas in mind. I heard the click of a gun to my right - she had pulled out a handgun from somewhere and aimed at my group.
"Let's start out with this, shall we leader?" her voice mocked me as she pulled the trigger. My eyes widened and fear began to rush throughout my body as I realized who the woman had aimed for.

"CYNTHIA!" I cried out as I watched her hand hovering over the fresh wound in the middle of her chest. She looked at me with a haunting expression, mouthing my name, before collapsing onto the ground before me.
