Description
You find yourself in ___(choose a dangerous environment...can be any)__Pretend you are evolving, but as a single individual rather than a species. You behave like the evolution of a species though, and so if you aren't in danger, you won't evolve! There is another way you can evolve, however, and that's through mating selection! but the way we will handle that is non-mature (I have a plan I swear). Also there is competition, so you will have to adapt to compete for survival of the fittest!
So in this RP you will be TF'd to survive the environment wherever you go! This means partial transformations almost all the time, and multiple transformations as well. This one is gonna be really freeform, so if you have an idea, tell me in the notes or message and we can work it into a fun game!
And if you like, you can start off as whatever you like, but be warned! you won't end up the same as you started!!!!

She smiled, "wow...from the desert...around here it seems to be..." she checked. "mostly shrub land? some trees?" she looked over at the others and they were coming up to you, ooing and ahing, "a boy?" some of them sounded frightened that there was a boy. Mostly they seemed to be concerned.

"there's a guy here already and he's real buff...he won't tolerate any competition..." The first one who talked to you said, "we can hide you for a while when he comes back, but you're likely going to need a long term solution"

The others glanced at each other. they actually didn't seem to have a good answer. one of them answered, "have you been out here all this time and you are fully mature...and you haven't found a mate before?" she sounded pretty judgey.

*I slowly nod*

They all glanced at each other. a few of them seemed to eye you up and down after hearing that. "he's really cute" one said.
Even the ones that seemed to judge you, surround you on that rock.

*I look down, not sure what to think*

Suddenly there was a stir and they all swam away. One of them grabbed your arm before she left. "run" she said.
You could see on another rock nearby there was a guy, very large and masculine, muscular, staring at you with a look that could kill.

*I run as fast as my rabbit legs allow*

He swims after you until he gets to the rocks and then flops after you, being totally outrun.

You can see that he isn't following anymore. he seems to be hanging back near the water.

You notice that outside of the riparian zone, it's not rocks, but shrubs and the occasional tree. In the distance you can see forest and a mountain over it. in the other direction, where the river is flowing, it seems to go down in elevation, possibly to the ocean? You begin to feel hungry again.

*I head toward the ocean in search of fish*

(that would be back along the river...unless you don't go near the river)

As you go back to the river, you notice there are more of these seal-people.

*I head to the ocean but wonder what caused them to develop that way*

You get down to the shore and you notice that there are islands not too far off of shore, one with a volcano and lots of trees and another with no mountain at all, but some trees on it. Nearby is where the river hits the ocean, forming an estuary, and there are strange creatures, large bears with long legs swiping for something in the water.

*I take a look at the volcanic island in the distance*

It doesn't look too far away. Probably a strong swimmer could get to it.

*I start to swim toward it, wanting to reach it*

As you swim along, you notice that it's getting really hard, especially with your little flat body, although you can use your flat limbs like paddles, you seem to sink easily. You begin to sink as you go into deeper water.

*I keep trying to swim, hoping I'll change in a way facilitating swimming*

You begin to sink, being exhausted. Soon you notice that your flat arms and legs begin to flair out into flexible, translucent fins. You still feel totally tired, but you are able to make it to the surface for air.

*I take in a lot of air before feeling too tired*

(think like, flippered hands. so larger hands that you can use to swim, but they can grab onto things. they are just long fingers, almost like how bat wings are, but more usable)
You notice that your body when stretched out on the surface of the water floats like a leaf.

*I soon fall asleep out of sheer exhaustion*

When you wake up, you are washing up on the sands of some unknown place. You have been carried by the currents far away. You can see that there are deciduous trees and palm trees mixed, as well as some large turtle creatures.

*I look at myself to see if I changed at all*

It looks at you and looks at it's clutch of eggs in the sand. they were not the kind of eggs that would hatch into babies just yet. they definitely looked unfertilized. like fish eggs or something. The turtle looked deeply sad. The tide was going out.

She seems to tolerate it, or perhaps enjoy your company at least.

You notice that it looks around on the beach. there isn't a male of it's species anywhere on the beach to fertilize it's eggs. It begins moving around in the sand frantically.

I want to do this.
I am a human who is the only survivor of a plane crash. I am on a frozen island with a giant volcano in the middle. I have no food, no shelter, no means to survive. The animals are all large and all want to kill me. They won't kill their own species, however, so that could help my adaptation.
