Description
Chucky barely opened his eyes when he heard the sound of infants crying. He was used to it by now. Had been for the past 8 months. He barely felt the bed move as the pale arm of his wife reached over him to check the alarm clock. She was stopped by his hand. "Two." He simply said, starting to sit up. "Are you sure? It's my shift. " Tiffany's sleepy voice teased. "Eh, what the hell. Not like I get any sleep anyway." Chucky shrugged, turning to kiss his love's lips, before he stood up, and did a stretch, before walking down the hall to the children's room.
It was Glenda who was crying loudly, her little dimpled face a bright red, that he could see through the darkness within her crib. Tiffany always did joke around that she had the mouth of her father. Chucky usually replied with an eyeroll. But now, at two a.m. in the morning, stars shining brightly through the glass window, Chucky was starting to realize where she was coming from.
Glen was sleeping peacefully in his crib, his thumb pleasantly in his mouth as a blanket covered him up. He was the heavy sleeper out of the two. Chucky wished he had that tactic.
But now here he was, standing over the crib of his daughter who was still practically screaming. "Hey. Hey Peachy." He whispered, his nickname catching the little one's attention. She peered up at him through her crocodile tears, but her crying turned into whining, her tiny hands reaching up for him.
It was obvious now what she wanted. She wanted lovings..... At two in the morning. Chucky sighed. "You're killin' me kid." He reached down and lifted the little one into his arms. Her whining ceased, and her frown turned into a tiny little smile as she snuggled into her father's white t-shirt.
Chucky felt a small smile appear on his lips as he went to sit in the rocking chair- before he heard the sound of whining that he knew wasn't coming from the little Glenda in his arms. He turned his head to see Glen's blankie tossed aside, and the baby's face puckered up, preparing to wail. 'Ah, shit...'
The father made his way over to the other twin's crib, and looked straight at the baby's face. "Don't even think about it kid." He smirked. Glen's eyes opened, immediately recognizing his daddy's voice. His mouth too turned into a toothless grin. Chucky smiled a little, and slowly reached down to hold the other twin. One would think that it would be hard to carry twins at the same time, but it's simple really. Grab one baby, then try to grab the other one while praying to God you don't drop the first. Chucky had somehow mastered this, (which honestly surprised him greatly). So now the father was holding both twins, and he sighed, rocking them both.
He walked over to the chair as he had planned, and slowly sat down, rocking both to sleep with a sigh. He just watched the two sleep, simply thinking. He still couldn't believe he was here, after everything he had gone through, and the fact that he murdered in cold blood had something to do with it. But now here he was, with two kids, and a beautiful wife. Happy. It was nice to have something great in his life.

Speaking of beautiful wives-
There his stood in the doorway of the twins' room, her lips curved into a sweet smile as she stared at the adorable sight. Chucky smirked a little at the woman. "What can I say? They dig me." He simply shrugged. Tiffany shook her head with a playful eyeroll before she walked over to her husband, reaching down to take one of the little ones. "Dig you or not, Daddies need sleep too." She chuckled, very gently lifting little Glenda into her arms.
Chucky shrugged with a yawn before he slowly stood up, and walked the little Glen over to his crib where he laid the child down, his finger lightly stroking the soft flesh of his cheek. He took a step back, admiring the two cribs in the room, holding his children. He didn't know how, but he could get used to this.
"Chucky?" He looked over at Tiffany who had placed her hand on his shoulder, her pitch black nails reflecting the little light from outside. He turned to look her in the eyes, the woman who had somehow managed to love him despite all the damn flaws he had. He took advantage of the opportunity, and gently pulled his wife into a short, but passionate kiss.
Tiffany was surprised, but of course replied with enough love to match his, before the two pulled away, staring into each other's eyes. "Love ya Tiff." Chucky's voice broke the silence. "I love you too Chucky." Tiffany smiled.
They stood there for a second, before Tiffany gently pulled away, starting to walk out of the room, before turning an seeing her husband still standing there. "Honey, you coming?" She questioned, confusion in her voice. Chucky waved his hand. "You go on back to bed. I'll be there in a sec." Tiffany nodded, and walked out of the room, leaving the man alone in the nursery.
Chucky looked around. All of the toys, the diapers, the bottles, the mobiles. Then at the children sleepily residing inside the cribs. He looked around, then back at them, before he gently walked out, lightly closing the door behind him.
