Oh, how interesting... wow, sounds like a lot to sort through. =/ I'm so sorry to hear about you going through so much, especially by way of thoughts of self harm. That's... those kinds of thoughts are annoying and tough to deal with (and can be really hard to resist). I'm always here for you if you ever need someone to listen to you or someone to rant to, and now that you have my email, there's that way to communicate with me too.
I'm really glad that you're doing much better now though! Hopefully you'll be able to get these things figured out so they can stop haunting you already. I wish I could fight your demons for you, but I know that you'll grow stronger from this is the end. After all, God allows us to go through these things and sometimes gives us trials so we can be strengthened enough to handle something harder down the road, and/or to be able to help and strengthen others too (I'm continually amazed about how my experiences with depression, anxiety, and other struggles allow me to have the empathy and experience to help others as well as help me through struggles I face now). That's what I believe, anyway. =]
Oof, when it happens in public is the worst. Thankfully I don't have many panic attacks anymore (though I had a small one a couple weeks ago), but they're awful when they come. I make a point to avoid playing scary games or watching horror movies and such for that reason. It's so intriguing to me how certain sounds or images can set us off like that; causing those emotions to rush through us and take control. For instance, I attempted playing a scary game a couple weeks ago; bad idea. I was with Kapphire, and I feel bad for her because she didn't know what to do when something screamed and I suddenly flew into hyperventilating while scooting the chair back while covering my head and crying. It was so sudden, and she thought I was just doing something funny at first until she realized I wasn't responding to her (I tend to do funny things to make people laugh, and I guess I do it a lot without realizing it). Thankfully it wasn't a full-on attack (I wasn't screaming, just hyperventilating and crying), so I was able to calm down a couple minutes later. It was a not-so-nice reminder that I can't handle certain things (and don't worry; I'm pretty much fine about it now), haha.
Back at'cha!! It's so relieving to know that you're not the only one and that you can talk about it with someone else who actually understands. And yes, God always has our backs and He'll help us through these things! One of my favorite quotes (I think it's by Meg Johnson) is, "God will never give you anything that you can't handle with His help."
Oh... well I'm happy that you didn't hurt yourself more than that, and I'm really glad you told someone. And just like you said, it's so... weird. You know you shouldn't do it; that it's not really going to help, and yet, you want to feel the pain, for whatever reason. Maybe you feel like it's a way to get frustration out, especially when that frustration is directed at yourself, or you do it because you feel like you deserve it... um. Sorry, that got a bit dark there, heh. I've struggled with that a few times myself in the past weeks, as you can probably tell. I've had to keep myself away from knives and other sharp things, for example... *sigh* I guess I just identified why I do it. Interesting, because I've never really thought about why I'm tempted with that before. Huh. Welp... sorry for dumping that on you.
Yeah!!! I love the scripture found in Doctrine and Covenants 6:34, which reads, "Therefore, fear not, little flock; do good; let earth and hell combine against you, for if ye are built upon my rock, they cannot prevail." That's one of my go-to scriptures when I'm struggling; it's a great reminder that if I rely on God, then Satan can't win. I love it so much.

well, its about when sans get a scar across his chest (from genocide probably) but has no idea where it came from.
as sans is a known liar, no one (coughcoughpapyrus) believes that he doesnt know what happened. It's really good!
