It has been another one of those peaceful days that had repeated themselves for the past year since the grail war ended, if you were to tell Sakura that one day she could live a life as peaceful as this she would not have been able to agree. The last 10 years of her life had been filled with so many horrific events that this peaceful atmosphere without having to worry about Shinji or her grandfather was a blissful reward for someone as tainted as her. In addition to that the curse was lifted from the grail fragment that had been planted inside her since childhood by Senpai's intervention and for that she would be eternally grateful to him.

"I really want Rin to hurry and find all the components necessary so that we can bring Senpai back with us I miss him," Sakura said to no one in particular like she had done several times already whenever the loneliness grabbed hold of her. At the moment she was cooking her meals which had become part of her daily routine and this gave her a lot of time to think about everything that was going on. During the last year she had been able to fix her relationship with her sister and live a particular peaceful life which was exactly what she needed to heal part of the damage that was done to her heart for the past decade, it wasn't enough to heal everything, but it was a start.

Sakura had just come back from school and was preparing her daily meals at the Emiya house which she was tending until they figure out how to restore Senpai's body. This was the only place that actually felt like home since the Matou residence was the place where her worst nightmares had originated and she did not even want to step back into the place.

"Knock, Knock"

Sakura heard the loud knocks at the frontal entrance which was not strange for her since she was used to getting guests in the house. If it wasn't Taiga Sensei then Rin usually showed up or someone from the school archery club as a senior in her last year she was extremely busy delegating some of the tasks to the lower class members so that when she graduated the leadership of the club would have no issues. She then took off her Apron and turned off the stove that had the food already cooked.

"Coming," Sakura said as she headed towards the door. When she opened it she saw two men in what looked like to be police uniforms, but not the ones she was used to in Japanese police officers. They had the air of something official and after they saw her they looked at each other and one of them nodded. Then the one on the right asked.

"Are you Sakura Matou heir to the Matou magecraft line?" they said in an official way that made me feel some apprehension.

"Yes, how can I help?" Sakura said.

"We are agents from the mage association after a thorough investigation of the events that happened last year here we determined that a mage used her powers against civilians. Matou Sakura under the laws of the mage association that monitors all mages you are under arrest for the use of indiscriminate magecraft on civilians.

Sakura was startled she was pretty sure that all the issues had been resolved and was surprised when one of the formal-looking men grabbed one of her arms and clasped a heavy metal manacle over it. Immediately she could feel a disconnect from her magecraft and could not move an ounce of her power, she felt like the source of her power was completely gone.

"Sir wait there must be a mistake this cannot be right, Tohsaka Rin the regional manager should have given a report about the incident there should be no reason for questioning me please take off these restraints!!" Sakura said but the officer was not even looking at her.

"Miss Sakura we did our investigation, over 100 civilians died in the holy grail war a year ago and Manager Tohsaka report was inconsistent with many events. For this reason, we are escorting you to the regional office for questioning, now follow us without any problems" the man said with an air of finality.

With a feeling of disempowerment Sakura decided to comply with the officers, she followed them out of what had been her home for the last year and into whichever place they were going to take her without much issue, after all, deep down she knew that she was not a good person and deserve to be punished for all that she had done last year.

I came up with this brief storyline after I finished watching the Heaven's Feel movies the other week. I kind of wanted to do something with the Fateverse and it was pretty easy to start here.

This is just my gift for reaching 600 watchers (Since I totally skipped the 500 watcher mark).
