I love the rubber hose animation of Spinel. her animation is so flowing and cartoony it feels like I'm watching old cartoons.
I enjoy the reset version, too. So bubbly and happy.

Canon Story of her
From the Movie:

Spinel was Pink Diamonds "Toy" whose whole purpose is to make her happy.
However, when Pink finally got her colony it became harder for her to play with Spinel and work.
So, Pink told Spinel at the Garden to play stand still.
Spinel took it as a fun game and stayed in the garden while pink left her for SIX THOUSAND YEARS.
When Spinel found out what happened, she went on a rampage to earth Changing her form to the image above with a RESET SCYTHE, which causes any Gem to well reset everything they know and forget about themselves.
They even forget their personalities.
